MUGARDOS, 22 april 2025.-

This afternoon, Reganosa has congratulated the players, coaching staff and directors of Uni Ferrol for the excellent 2024-2025 season that the club has signed in the basketball elite, during which it has achieved the runner-up position in the Eurocup Women and, for the second consecutive year, has qualified to fight for the title of the Spanish Women’s League. In the framework of a meeting at the LNG terminal of Galicia, in Mugardos (A Coruña), the workers have wished the best of luck to the members of the team in the playoffs for the title, which start this Thursday in the pavilion of A Malata with a match against the leader of the regular phase: Girona. The second leg will be held in the Catalan city on Sunday 27th.

On behalf of the staff, the head of the plant, Nuria Rivas, has received a commemorative t-shirt from the players. “During the last few months you have done nothing but give us joy and excitement; we have seen that it was true, that where the sea ends, dreams begin. You have conquered us all. [You have been the best ambassadors of Ferrolterra and of the positive values associated with sport, you can be proud, congratulations and thank you”, he replied.

In addition, Rivas explained to the players that the Mugardos facilities carry out key work for the security of energy supply in the northwest of the peninsula, as well as to promote the deployment of renewables. He also told them how Reganosa, founded 26 years ago, has evolved to what it is today: a global corporation that has already developed activities in 30 countries; it is part of a group that operates basic assets in Europe, Asia and Africa; it is a world reference in energy infrastructure management; it owns and operates the LNG terminal in Galicia; it owns 25% of the Musel E-Hub, in Gijón (Asturias); and promotes energy storage projects, renewables, circular economy, green hydrogen, energy efficiency and digitisation.
