Reganosa Servicios is establishing a presence in Ireland

Reganosa Servicios is establishing a presence in Ireland, thereby continuing its contribution to the development of the energy transition in Europe and its support for clients during the initial phases of strategic critical infrastructure projects, laying solid foundations for the implementation and operational phases.

Following an international tender process, we have been selected by Gas Networks Ireland (GNI), the state-owned gas system operator, to provide independent technical verification services for the Front-End-Engineering Design (FEED) design of the Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER) project.

This project involves developing a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) and associated infrastructure that will act as a backup for the Irish energy system in emergency situations; Ireland is a country with a high dependence on imports and no strategic gas storage of its own. Initiatives such as this strengthen the security of energy supply, an essential pillar for the resilience and competitiveness of European energy systems.

Our role as an independent verifier is key to ensuring the technical robustness, regulatory compliance and maturity of the design prior to its next phase of development.
