Which is the cleanest fossil fuel?

Natural gas is the fossil fuel with the softest environmental impact. At home, it may substitute other products with some advantages; in road transportation it avoids all the inconveniences of gasoline, both emissions and noise.

In electricity production, only two out of the eight technologies employed (i.e. small scale hydraulic power stations and wind farms) are more environmentally friendly. The advantages of NG are remarkable if we compare it with other fossil fuels.Produce less carbon dioxide, almost emissions of sulphur or other heavy metals, much less nitrogen oxide emissions, and it does not leave any solid waste.

Its being a clean fuel is improved by its liquefaction, as this is a process that confers an even higher purity.
